When Spanky was left alone after his owner passed away, we discovered him distressed by his current living situation. He was terrified when he first arrived. It's amazing to see an animal so quickly respond to love and care in a new setting after all he'd been through. He is still scared, but has the capacity to trust again. A quiet, loving home will continue to bring him comfort.
